Also the org had (have) fixers, brothers who would go to the family of the abused and pay them off to keep quiet. Then these assholes would talk about how low the family could be bought off for. Any lurkers reading this- does this sound like the true religion to you??? Doesn't it bother you that your donations go to this type of rediculous behavior?

Thank you for this excellent post. I did not suffer sexual abuse in the cult but am extremely outraged at the way these false prophets are spinning their fake care and concern. I am imagining how unsettling it will be for an abuse victim who goes to a meeting during these articles and wasn't aware ahead of time this will be discussed. I was wondering if these mature Christian sisters will be counting their time as they comfort...( eye roll) Being remotely involved in this as a sister (gasp) seems so far from the whole wt way, this itself should be confusing to those sheep still asleep at the meeting. But as you brought up- they will be so eager to find out the gossip, what a cold dreadful place I am so happy to be free of the obligation to go to!

Holiday field service
by All or nothing intoday is 4th of july in my part of the world- the us- and i was reflecting how we were strongly encouraged when we were still in to go out in the ministry on holidays.
i just mentioned this memory to my husband and we reflected on how cult like this was.

As I watched the matrix series I meditated on if I'm better off with the red or blue pill... Well mentally I am so much better knowing the truth about the truth. The longer you are away from the cult you realize how much better you are without it- and I have never missed it-- years later. Slowly letting go of the fear obligation and guilt has been so freeing. Living every day in the present is wonderful! Cheers to all of you for being smart enough to get OUT!!

I enjoyed this book a lot. It was my first taste of "apostate" material. The ORg always wants us to believe apostates are unreasonable satanic crazy people. I noticed a comment on the GO fund me page for this tragedy. The jw thinks they are comforting the mother by saying, Jehovah fortifies you in times like this. I recall being taught the delusion that Jehovah would protect us from something like this, but ever since 9-11 they have changed their tune on what type of alleged protection we can expect from Jehovah. Only spiritual, they say. Well that isn't even true, because when I started to delve into the TTATT, I fervently prayed for spiritual guidance that NEVER happened. The fact is that this mother needs physical money to hire a proper PI and does not need to hear from a
